This project is implemented by the State Medicines Control Service under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania (VVKT). Its objective is to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and digitalization of pharmaceutical regulation and oversight in Lithuania.

Key goals of the project include:

a. Automating data exchange on pharmaceutical registration applications with international databases;
b. Developing electronic tools for pharmaceutical market surveillance, reporting, and data management and processing;
c. Creating user-friendly digital solutions that allow the public and VVKT service recipients to easily and efficiently access up-to-date information about available services and their outcomes;
d. Digitizing inspection processes for economic entities operating in the pharmaceutical sector.

• A feasibility study and an investment project have been completed;
• Technical specifications for the modernization of the Register of Medicinal Products (VPREG) and the Medicinal Products Information System (VAPRIS) have been prepared;
• Measures to improve the ergonomics and usability of VVKT provided services have been implemented.
